getting started

Setup

Connect the basics, import video history, and prepare your workspace for useful recommendations.

Updated 2026-05-29

  1. Connect your YouTube account.
  2. Select the channel you want to analyse.
  3. Sync recent analytics history.
  4. Review imported videos for missing labels or obvious edge cases.
  5. Set your default period, content type, and visibility preferences.
  6. Add labels to the videos you already know are strategically important.

Minimum useful data

You do not need years of history to start. A recent library with enough uploads to compare formats is usually enough to produce your first solid recommendation. In fact even 10 videos tagged can give you incredible insights.

Clean up before generating

Before spending AI credits, make sure the selected channel, imported videos, content-type filters, and visibility filters are right. A good AI result depends on a clean read of the videos you meant to include.

After setup

Once your videos are imported, jump to the playbooks. The fastest win is usually identifying one format to repeat and one underperforming CTA to fix.
